Singapore – OCT 2026

As Singapore has prospered economically, its population, lifestyles, and values have also changed. The General Household Survey 2025 revealed that the proportion of Christians declined from 18.9% to 17.1% over five years, while those with no religious affiliation increased by 3.9%, particularly among adults aged 35 to 44.1 These trends serve as a timely reminder for the Church to remain vigilant, steadfast in faith, and intentional in passing on the gospel to the next generation.

Often called the “Antioch of Asia”, Singapore remains a strategic hub for missions. As of September 2025, its population stood at 6.11 million, with about 31% being non-residents.2 Together with plans by the government to welcome more new citizens in the coming years, these demographic shifts present both opportunities and challenges for the Church to reach an increasingly diverse population with the gospel.

We praise God for the harvest fields in our homeland and are excited about the opportunity to encourage and support Christians to be His vessels in bringing in the harvest.

Thank God with us for . . .

  • . . . the 44 pastors and ministry leaders who attended the Pastoral and Church Leaders’ Gathering held on 4 September, where Rev Mike Raiter spoke on marriage, parenting and grandparenting, deepening our understanding of biblical principles for family life. Pray that the pastors and ministry leaders will continue to apply these insights in their own lives and ministries, and impart them as they shepherd and guide their congregations.
  • His provision and presence over our Outreach Ministry gathering, “Bring a Friend to Serve Together”, held on 18 September, where 51 attendees, including 18 new Outreach Partners joined us. May God will continue to equip and use them as they reach others with His Word in the harvest fields.
  • . . . the opportunities to serve alongside churches and organisations in the community. We were encouraged to receive a letter from one of the organisations we partnered with, expressing their appreciation for our presence at their event with our book table in September. We pray that God will continue to deepen these partnerships, enabling us to work alongside churches and organisations to serve the community, share Christ’s love, and advance the Gospel together.
  • . . . the overwhelming response from new volunteers who joined us for the Volunteer Introduction and Book Table Display Training on 26 September. Pray that their involvement in future opportunities will be a joyful and fruitful experience.
  • . . . 2 new designers who bring their unique skills and perspectives to support the ministry. Please pray for smooth integration into the team, fruitful collaboration with co-workers across the region, and for wisdom, creativity, and joy as they settle into their new roles.

Continue to intercede
for us . . .

  • . . . to fill the HR Executive, and Digital Marketing Team Lead positions. Pray that God will open the right doors and bring people who are not only equipped for the work, but who also have a genuine love for Him and a heart for reaching others through the ministry.
Thanksgiving

We continue to be encouraged by readers who have been strengthened by our resources:

“The whole package [of the Teen Devo]—from the illustrations to the daily word that’s relevant to the teens—is such a good way to reach out to the youths! Thanks for all the effort put in, and as a mom, I really appreciate it.” —Serene

“Thank you for the Jun-Jul-Aug 2025 Chinese Our Daily Bread in large print. By God’s Grace, my neighbour has started reading it and finds that it helps her understand God’s word. I have hoped that she would find daily encouragement and be comforted by God’s Presence.” —L.K.

“I have recently read Eli’s Amazing Bottle of Hope. It’s a simple yet touching story; the details that go into the drawing adds another wonderful dimension to it. I was moved to tears as I read to my children.” —Joey

We would love to help you grow in your relationship with God.
