Whether we’re parents, grandparents, or spiritual parents, all of us face the daunting task of raising the next generation to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ.

This session explores what it means for us to be God’s children, and how this identity can powerfully shape the way we raise our children.

How can we best introduce, impart, and influence our children with the gospel?

This session delves into what the gospel is, practical ways we can share it with our children, and how the good news of Jesus Christ can be embodied and embedded in everyday family life.

Lim Chien Chong is a preacher and educator with over two decades of experience in youth evangelism and development. He was the National Director of Singapore Youth for Christ from 2005 to 2020 and currently serves as its Teaching & Resource Director. Chien Chong also conducts parenting workshops and is the author of Help! How Do I Discipline My Kid?.

As a church deacon, Chien Chong serves in the pulpit, Bible class, and children’s ministry. He has been married to Sue San for over 20 years, and they have two teenage sons.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to register separately for others who want to attend?

Yes. The event will be held at a limited-capacity venue. We advise those who would like to join us to register individually, as we may have to turn away walk-in participants.

Can I bring my child to the event?

We have volunteers who can provide basic child-minding assistance, for children 7 to 12 years old, in a room near the auditorium. If you intend to bring your child(ren) and require this assistance, please let us know by indicating this in the registration form.
