Permissions / Copyrighted Materials

Please contact the Rights and Permissions Department if you would like to use an excerpt or copyrighted material from Our Daily Bread Ministries or Our Daily Bread Publishing. Our Daily Bread Publishing includes the management of world rights for the Oswald Chambers Publications Association, Ltd. and Day of Discovery for the following rights but not limited to:

  • Permission
  • Reprint
  • Translation
  • Academic Use
  • Non-profit print and electronic
  • Audio recording

In order to inquire about permission to reprint copyrighted material, you must contact us in writing (by e-mail or by letter). Your letter must include:

  • Title of the book, booklet, devotional article, recorded product, or video product
  • Full name of the author/artist of the book, booklet, devotional article, recorded product, or video product
  • Specific material from the copyrighted material you’d like to use
  • The way in which you’d like to use the material. Please be as specific as possible ie. commercial or non-commercial, for personal use or to distribute, classroom educational material, newsletters, bulletins, etc.
  • Your name, address, phone number and e-mail address.

Subsidiary / Translation Rights

In order to inquire about permission to secure subsidiary or translation rights, you must contact us in writing (by e-mail or by letter). Please contact the Rights and Permissions Department with questions about:

  • foreign rights (the right to translate and publish our material in another language other than English)
  • serialization rights
  • book club rights
  • electronic/interactive rights
