We are looking for a Content Strategist to drive the development and execution of a comprehensive digital content strategy that aligns with our ministry goals, resonates with our target audiences, and enhances our online presence. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping narratives, creating engaging content pillars, and optimising user experiences across digital platforms, ensuring our brand remains innovative, relevant, and influential in the digital landscape.
Main Responsibilities
● Develop and execute comprehensive digital content strategies that target the 25 to 45-year-old demographic, ensuring alignment with ministry goals and brand identity.
● Identify emerging trends, preferences, and behaviour patterns of the target audience to inform content decisions.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and tech, to create and execute content that resonates with the target audience.
● Define and curate digital content pillars that will serve as the foundation for engaging various target audiences with relevant biblical content.
● Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments to the content strategy.
● Lead the creation and optimization of content across various digital platforms, including websites, social media, and email marketing.
● Stay current with news, industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure our content strategy encourages more people in Singapore to draw close to God, as they receive, reflect and respond to God’s Word in a regular and sustainable way.
● Any other duties as required/assigned by the team leader.
Job Requirements
Must be a Christ-centred believer with a love for God’s Word.
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
Experience
● Proven experience in content strategy and creation, particularly in targeting the 25-45 year old audience.
● Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
● Familiarity with SEO, social media marketing, and email marketing best practices.
● Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to refine content strategy.
● Excellent project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
● Proficient in content management systems and digital marketing tools.
● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (Strong copywriting background would be an advantage).
● A keen sense of emerging audience behaviours and preferences.
● A self initiated learner with a strong sense of accountability.
Work Environment
This role is situated within a dynamic digital environment and carries a strategic dimension. While the official working hours are as listed above, candidates are encouraged to engage in ongoing communication beyond these hours, actively contributing to the cultivation of a collaborative team culture. The role necessitates proactive engagement with team members and the team lead to ensure the seamless flow of work discussions, brainstorming sessions, and problem-solving, especially in our default work-from-office setting. Additionally, the role may include selected periods of work-from-home or remote working, which require the flexibility to adapt to changing work arrangements while maintaining effective communication and collaboration with the team.
