Isolated, but Not Alone
Spending a week or so locked up in a room can be a terrible experience. Being isolated from our loved ones and friends, and being kept away from our routines and responsibilities, is overwhelming. How could life change so dramatically in the blink of the eye?
The Bible has some simple yet refreshing words:
The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
—Philippians 4:5–7
Even in this stressful period of isolation, we can experience God’s peace as we trust every situation, every question, every trial, every loved one, and every day into His loving, powerful hands.
Over the next few days, we invite you to spend some time reflecting on God’s Word and pouring out your heart to Him. Step into God’s presence, and let Him fill you with His transformational peace.
