Chinese Editor
The Chinese Editor ensure the accuracy, clarity and faithfulness of the Chinese translations of our English-language resources, maintaining readability and theological integrity. This meaningful role is important in helping to share God’s Word with Chinese readers around the world. This is a full-time position serving with the Chinese Editorial Team in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Translate, edit, and proofread Our Daily Bread and related materials (e.g., Discovery Series, Discovery Series Bible Study, Life Series, Introductory Editions, etc.).
- Check translated manuscripts, make necessary revisions, and produce the final edited version ensuring linguistic accuracy, consistency, and theological soundness.
- Proofread scripts.
- Final editing of letters for projects as and when required.
- Collaborate with translators, editors, and project managers to meet production schedules.
- Assess the quality of potential translators.
- Participate in quarterly editorial meetings.
- Prepare monthly work reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above (preferably in Translation, English, Chinese, Linguistics, Theology, or related field).
Job Requirements
- A Christ-centred believer with a deep love for and knowledge of God’s Word.
- Professional experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in translation, editing, or publishing.
- Technical proficiency: Excellent command of both written and spoken Chinese and English. Skilled in Chinese language input and familiar with software such as Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign.
- Detail-oriented, quick to learn, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.

HR Executive
The HR Executive plays a pivotal role in supporting the Country Director, overseeing HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and providing administrative support to the ministry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Country Director on salary reviews, incentive compensation plans, performance appraisals, and market benchmarking initiatives.
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, managing onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Administer, update, and implement HR policies, Staff Employment Handbook, and terms and conditions pertaining to staff.
- Manage regulatory submissions (e.g., GPL, NS-men), grant applications, and annual surveys to relevant government bodies.
- Maintain and update employee information and benefits, including insurance claims and leave records.
- Oversee and maintain HR systems such as CorpPass and the Leave System.
- Coordinate weekly staff meetings and promote a culture of learning and collaboration.
- Conduct exit interviews for departing staff members.
- Provide secretarial support during Board meetings and ensure accurate data management and filing.
- Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.
Job Requirements

- Professional experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably in a similar capacity.
- Sound knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and regulatory compliance.

Outreach Ministry Executive
The Outreach Ministry Executive supports the work of outreach in our local community, ensuring that we walk alongside our Outreach Partners as valued companions. Using our resources, we partner with individuals, businesses, and fellowship groups in sharing the good news of Jesus with those who have yet to know Him, and in encouraging and building up fellow believers in their walk with Christ.
Responsibilities
- Partner Engagement
- Reach out to potential Outreach Partners through communication platforms or in-person visits.
- Share outreach resources with both new and existing partners, offering support on how to use them effectively.
- Keep a summary of discussion points after engaging with new and existing partners.
- Assist in responding to enquiries from Outreach Partners via our Business WhatsApp account or emails.
- Responsible for the preparation of the quarterly Outreach Partner letter, coming up with the content to introduce the latest outreach resource and providing other updates.
- Provide ongoing care and engagement with Outreach Partners through visits and communication platforms.
- Resource Management
- Responsible for Outreach material inventory and replenishment of stock of relevant materials.
- Work with other teams for the development of new outreach resources and provide them in a timely and relevant manner.
- Work closely with the Church Ministries team in sharing outreach resources in churches.
- Administration
- Provide inputs for the monthly report to be submitted to the Executive Director.
- Maintain and update Outreach Partner contacts and resource orders in Salesforce.
- Assist in the planning of any ad hoc outreach projects/events that may be required.
- Assist Team Lead in putting together the annual goals, plan and budget for recommendation to the Executive Director for approval.
- Handle any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the Team Lead.
- Additional Function
- Assist in Ministry Services and Church Ministries operations as and when required.
Education
A minimum of a Diploma in any discipline or field.
Job Requirements
- A Christ-centred believer with a deep love for God’s Word.
- At least 2 years of experience serving in a ministry of a church, personal outreach, para-church or social services is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Organised, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with using social media platforms for outreach and community engagement is a plus.
- The ability to interpret data into meaningful insights and identify opportunities for improvement will be good, but not compulsory.
- Willingness to work outside of office hours or on weekends for book tables, conferences (ad-hoc).
- (Optional) Able to drive a manual van is desirable, but not compulsory.

Finance Manager
The Finance Manager will work alongside the Country Director in planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all finance-related activities of the ministry. This includes direct responsibility for day-to-day accounting and finance needs, forecasting, compliance, and corporate governance.
Responsibilities
- Accounts

- Supervise the accounts staff in the office—provide leadership, guidance and support.
- Review monthly accounts and reports, explain variances against budget for submission to Country Director (CD).
- Submit approved monthly financial reports to regional Finance Co-ordinator for consolidation purposes.
- Provide analysis of accounts on a quarterly basis.
- Check and approve outgoing remittances.
- Check and approve GIRO collections.
- Check funds that are approved for transfers to overseas Asia Pacific offices.
- Monitor cash flow and inform Country Director of areas of concern.
- Liaise with the auditors for the annual audit, review and reconcile the audited financial statements, management letter.
- Ensure that accounting system functions properly.
- Review accounting procedures to ensure adequate internal controls are in place and make changes and improvements where necessary.
- Carry out tasks that are assigned by the Country Director from time to time.
- Budgets

- Update budget templates for individual department.
- Assist team leads with preparation of budget.
- Review team budget and prepare consolidated country budget for submission to Country Director, and work with CD to present budget to Board Chairman and Treasurer and subsequently to the Board, for approval.
- Submit approved consolidated budget to regional finance coordinator for Asia Pacific consolidation.
- Corporate Administration

- Liaise with company secretary to ensure compliance with ACRA, filing of Annual Returns.
- Liaise with auditors for review of accounts.
- Set the agenda for the internal audit committee review and obtain Country Director’s approval before sending it. Record minutes and facilitate review of internal controls by Audit committee.
- Prepare for filing of Annual Report, Financial Statements and Governance Evaluation Checklist to the Commissioner of Charities.
- Prepare the Governance checklist for board’s approval.
- Prepare financial reports for Board meetings.
- Inter-Office Claims, Payment and Reports

- Check and approve the monthly claims submitted to Grand Rapids office for reimbursement.
- Liaise with Grand Rapid’s office finance for claims and payment.
- Prepare annual reports (Eliminations, Total Assets & Liabilities, PCI) for submission to Asia Pacific Finance Director
- Investment
- Work with board treasurer and Internal Audit Committee on investments.
- Bid for shares on online platform (To execute instructions and investments approved by treasurer and audit committee).
- Publishing Entity Accounts

- Prepare monthly accounts to be sent to Country Director.
- Submit approved monthly financial reports to regional Finance Director for consolidation purposes.
- Prepare management reports for annual audit.
- Review royalties for the year and work with the operations team to ensure accuracy.
- File withholding tax for royalties.
- Annual filing of ECI and Form CS to Income Tax department.
- Liaise with countries for payment.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Job Requirements

- Professional experience: At least 5 years of proven experience in accounts and finance roles, preferably in a similar capacity.
- Proficiency in Accounting software/systems and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
