Creative Designer

A creative, visually driven thinker with a strong sense of aesthetics, motivated by how design enhances our work to build trust and shape perceptions that aid the ministry’s overall vision and mission. Working as part of the Transformation Department on board the Creative Design Team, be involved in creative design initiatives to support and enhance digital contents to reach specific audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Create mood boards and concept decks to pitch design ideas for approval. 
  • Conceptualise and develop design concepts, graphics and layouts.
  • Design collaterals in accordance with brand guidelines. 
  • Work closely with teammates to create digital design assets that support web development, social media and marketing efforts.
  • Undertake design tasks/projects that require quick turnaround time. 
  • Maintain high levels of communication with Team and Supervisor. 
  • Willing to amend designs based on feedback provided.

Education
At least a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design, Graphic Design, or any other related field or possesses the right aptitude as deemed by the ministry for the role. A strong portfolio showing works done by the candidate is necessary for the interview process.

Full Stack Developer

The ODB Singapore technology team builds solutions to digitally equip the ministry to fulfil our mission. We proactively brainstorm and identify areas where technology can be leveraged and strive to deliver solutions that benefit both our readers and coworkers. This includes everything from building interactive frontends and robust backends to automating the ministry’s internal workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Translate user requirements into feasible, sound technology solutions while balancing schedule, security, accuracy, testability, maintainability, performance, and cost.
  • Engage proactively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Take part and contribute meaningfully to regular brainstorming sessions.
  • Build and maintain both front-end and back-end solutions to support the ministry’s initiatives.
  • Perform regular updates to document the ministry’s technical infrastructure.
  • Keep up to date with recent developments in software engineering by taking time to learn and evaluate new architectures, frameworks and technologies. Studying for and achieving professional certification is highly recommended.
  • Adhere to best practices in software engineering, such as software design patterns, clean code and avoiding technical debt.
  • Research into new technologies to help spearhead new ministry initiatives.
  • Take initiative to clear roadblocks and to move things forward.

Education

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Job Requirements

  • Proactive in communication and accountability.
  • Proficient in Javascript and/or Typescript.
  • Experience working in teams and collaborating using Git.
  • Experience with one of the following frontend frameworks: Vue, React, or Angular.

Transformation Specialist

The Transformation Specialist will play a crucial role in the growth and smooth running of the Transformation Department. This role is designed to ensure that the department meets its operational goals while fostering cross-functional collaboration and driving strategic initiatives. The Transformation Specialist will act as a key support to the Head of Transformation, aiding in project management, process improvement, and milestone tracking. A critical piece in bridging the communication between leadership and ground teams to advance the Transformation journey.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Transformation in implementing Digital Transformation initiatives that align with our overarching Digital Strategy.
  • Actively participate and contribute value in strategic meetings, aiming to enhance our adoption of digital technologies and refine internal processes to create effective solutions that enable the ministry to perform optimally, present and future.
  • Familiarise oneself with existing digital processes and workflows to comprehend team roles and the operational requirements of the Transformational department.
  • Take charge of digital initiatives, which involve the identification and prioritisation of projects, securing funding, and overseeing project execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration among teams to ensure the timely delivery of project deliverables and objectives.

Education

Content Marketing Strategist

The Content Marketing Strategist plays a vital role in shaping the ministry’s digital content strategy by ensuring content remains engaging, relevant, and aligned with the audience’s needs. This role involves conceptualizing content ideas, planning campaigns, and ensuring that digital content leverages current trends while maintaining theological integrity. The strategist will play an active role in collaborating with the digital marketing and creative teammates to execute impactful content pieces that seek to fulfil the ministry’s mission of enhancing brand engagement and ministry reach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute content strategies that align with ministry objectives and audience needs.
  • Lead the ideation process for content development, ensuring they are engaging, relevant, and biblically sound.
  • Write and refine compelling copy for marketing campaigns, digital ads, and landing pages.
  • Work closely with digital marketing to optimize content performance based on data insights.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop multimedia content, including video and visual assets.
  • Monitor content performance and adjust strategies based on engagement metrics and trends.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, digital content formats, and best practices.
  • Ensure all content produced maintains theological accuracy and aligns with the ministry’s core beliefs.

Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Relevant experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or content creation may also be considered.

Audience Engagement Specialist 

The Audience Engagement Specialist serves as the first point of contact for readers, ensuring that inquiries, feedback, and resource requests, across walk-ins, phone, email, and digital platforms, are handled with care and efficiency. This role is central to fostering meaningful relationships with our audience, managing both print and digital service needs, and improving the overall reader experience. As the ministry expands its digital engagement, this individual will play a key role in enhancing online interactions, working closely with the Technology and Content Marketing teams to improve service pathways and outreach initiatives. 

Responsibilities

  • Reader Engagement & Customer Service 
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all reader inquiries across phone, email, social media, and in-person interactions.
    • Provide timely, thoughtful, and helpful responses to reader concerns, ensuring a warm and engaging ministry presence. 
    • Build relationships with readers by understanding their needs and connecting them with relevant ministry resources. 
    • Advocate for reader needs within the organisation by gathering and sharing feedback with relevant teams. 
  • Print & Digital Resource Fulfilment 
    • Handle and track online and offline orders, ensuring resources are distributed in a timely and efficient manner. 
    • Work closely with logistics and fulfilment partners to manage the accurate delivery of quarterly print collections. 
    • Maintain and update the reader database to ensure seamless follow-ups and engagement. 
  • Digital & Social Media Engagement 
    • Monitor and respond to reader inquiries across digital platforms (e.g., email, website, social media). 
    • Collaborate with the Tech Team to enhance digital service pathways, such as automated responses, FAQs, and online engagement tools. 
    • Identify opportunities to create reader engagement initiatives, such as promotions, events, and digital community-building efforts. 
  • Inventory & Data Management 
    • Maintain accurate physical and digital inventory records for print and digital resources. 
    • Work with the Ministry Services Lead to ensure stock levels are efficiently managed. 
    • Provide insights on resource demand trends based on reader interactions and order data. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration 
    • Work closely with Content Marketing, and Technology teams to align reader engagement strategies across different platforms. 
    • Act as a reader advocate, helping other departments understand audience needs to enhance ministry impact. 
  • Other Responsibilities 
    • Any other duties as required/assigned by the Supervisor. 

Education
A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Customer Service, Business, Digital Marketing) or demonstrates suitable experience in customer engagement and service.

Executive, Church Ministries 

To deepen relationships and foster partnerships with churches and Christian ministries. So that together we can help people of all ages in Singapore discover Christ and grow as disciples of Christ through regular engagement with the Scriptures. 

Responsibilities 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Deepen relationships and fosters partnership with churches and Christian ministries by:   
    • Constantly seeking out opportunities to connect with churches and Christian ministries. 
      • To discover needs and concerns, and find out how we can come alongside them. 
      • To share relevant feedback and opportunities to relevant teams in ODBSG. 
      • To share about Our Daily Bread Ministries’ ethos, funding policy and relevant resources with church leaders and their members (through book display and others).
    • Managing projects to promote specific resources to churches and Christian ministries 
      • Involving and not limited to planning, marketing, correspondence, fulfilment of projects, analysing outcomes and suggesting improvements. 
    • Corresponding with churches and Christian ministries on resources requested, and assist in the fulfilment of: 
      • Daily request 
      • Quarterly collection 
  • Serve churches and Christian ministries well by: 
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records relating to Church ministries in SalesForce.
    • Maintaining and replenishing resource inventory related to partner churches and Christian organisations. 
    • Analysing trends and collect data as required.  
    • Documenting and updating Church Ministry Processes as required.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Assist Members Services with picking up calls and attending to visitors as required. 

Job Requirements

  • Relevant experience working in or with a church, a front facing people-oriented role or Christian ministries.

Senior Accounts Executive 

The Senior Accounts Executive handles the day-to-day management of accounts for the ministry. This role is central in ensuring that incoming bills and payments are processed in a timely manner and that monthly financial report deadlines are met on time and to a high standard. The Senior Accounts Executive is also responsible for the year-end closing of accounts, preparation of audit confirmation letters and year-end schedules. In addition, the role also encompasses the need to maintain the full set of accounts for our publishing arm.  

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming bills and payments. 
  • Record suppliers’ invoices in MYOB and distribute to respective departments for approval. 
  • Collate approved invoices for payment via our online banking postal. 
  • Verify expense claims vouchers via email, sign off and file for reimbursement via payroll. 
  • Prepare journal entries for month-end closing. 
  • Record receipts, payment vouchers, journal vouchers in MYOB. 
  • Bank reconciliation 
  • Petty cash reimbursement 
  • Prepare month-end financial reports. 
  • Maintain accounts, spreadsheets and arrange for TT payments and transfers to other offices when required. 
  • Giro application and collection 
  • Monitor Fixed Deposits for renewal 
  • Responsible for year-end closing of accounts, preparation of audit confirmation letters and year-end schedules. 
  • Maintain full set of accounts for our publishing arm. 
  • Input donations and run reports in Salesforce. 
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor 

Education
A minimum of a Diploma in Accounting or Finance, bringing a strong foundation in financial principles.

Job Requirements

  • Professional experience: At least 3 years of full-function accounting experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of financial processes. 
  • Technical proficiency: Knowledge of relevant accounting software like MYOB, with Salesforce experience being an added advantage. 
  • Analytical skills: An analytical and mathematical mind to tackle unique financial challenges.

HR Executive

The HR Executive plays a pivotal role in supporting the Country Director, overseeing HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and providing administrative support to the ministry.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Country Director on salary reviews, incentive compensation plans, performance appraisals, and market benchmarking initiatives. 
  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, managing onboarding and offboarding processes. 
  • Administer, update, and implement HR policies, Staff Employment Handbook, and terms and conditions pertaining to staff. 
  • Manage regulatory submissions (e.g., GPL, NS-men), grant applications, and annual surveys to relevant government bodies. 
  • Maintain and update employee information and benefits, including insurance claims and leave records. 
  • Oversee and maintain HR systems such as CorpPass and the Leave System. 
  • Coordinate weekly staff meetings and promote a culture of learning and collaboration. 
  • Conduct exit interviews for departing staff members. 
  • Provide secretarial support during Board meetings and ensure accurate data management and filing. 
  • Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. 

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.

Job Requirements

  • Professional experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably in a similar capacity. 
  • Sound knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and regulatory compliance.

  • Proficiency in HR software/systems and MS Office Suite. 
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
