Committing Our Ways Unto the Lord
Committing Our Ways Unto the Lord
Oftentimes the burdens of this world and all its care; are too heavy for our frail shoulders to stoically bear.
The Lord's soft prompting is thus drowned by mortal clutter; As we give rein to the noise and futile fury of the other.
But still He waits with patient endurance until we return; To the Father who loves us with a love that eternally burns.
When we finally fall at His feet and surrender to our King; All the fears and anxieties deliquesce in His majestic wing.
Committing our ways unto the Lord who holds the word in synchrony; The season of darkness gives way to a light of glorious harmony.
"Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will act." Psalm 37:5 ESV
